The service
Farsteps lets you plan and track trips, count visa/residency days, collaborate on trips, and share trips publicly if you choose. The service is currently free while in beta; paid features may be introduced later — nothing you created will be taken hostage behind a paywall.
Not legal or tax advice — important
Farsteps' day counts (including Schengen 90/180 and residency counters) are informational tools computed from data you enter. They can be wrong if your data is wrong or incomplete, and rules change. They are not legal, immigration or tax advice, and you may not rely on them as your sole basis for visa or tax decisions. Verify with official sources or a qualified adviser. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for overstays, fines, denied entries or tax consequences.
Your content
Your trips, photos and notes are yours. You grant us the technical licence needed to store and display them to you and the people you share them with — nothing more. Don't upload content that is illegal or infringes others' rights.
Acceptable use
No abuse: don't attempt to breach security, scrape other users' data, spam invitations, or use Farsteps to track a person without their knowledge and consent. We may suspend accounts that do.
Availability & changes
This is a beta: we aim high but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change or discontinue features; if we ever discontinue the service, we'll give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
Termination
You can delete your account anytime (see Privacy Policy). We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence (for EU residents, including your right to bring claims at your local courts).
